Corporate Non-governmental Organization Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation (LHWRF) has been promoted by Lupin Limited – a major Indian pharmaceutical company.
Developing properly sustainable linkages between Government and the people for implementing various rural development programmes with a special emphasis on economic development programmes (income generation programmes) for the poorest of the poor, marginalized sections of the society, youth and women. With team effort, LHWRF has been developed as one of the largest NGOs in the country.

Certified Corporate Social Responsibility Professional from IICA, the institute established by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (GoI), Mr. Badhe oversee the entire operations of LHWRF centres. He has been involved in various poverty alleviation initiatives since 1989. He has designed, mobilised and implemented numerous Government and Non-Government projects related to natural resource management, urban poverty alleviation, health and livelihood enhancement.
He is a down-to-earth motivated person and leads the operations of the Foundation. He has excellent skills in launching new development ventures that turn ideas into actions. He is the driving force behind the LHWRF operations across the states.
CHIEF PROGRAM MANAGER, CSO, PUNE
Ravi Deshpande is Certified Corporate Social Responsibility Professional from IICA, the institute established by Ministry of Corporate Affairs (GoI). He has done his Master’s from the University of Mumbai. He has been an activist since his college days and was involved in advocacy work among the tribals of Thane district. He worked as a lecturer in a reputed degree college of the University of Mumbai for five years.
He has been associated with the CSR sector for more than 5 years and development sector for more than 17 years. He has worked on various issues such as migration and trafficking, Panchayati Raj, Watershed Development, and National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) and many others. He has vast experience of carrying out project implementation, project coordination, process documentation, impact assessment and evaluation of developmental projects. He has a number of book publications to his credit along with several articles and research papers. He brings to table expertize in strategy and policy formulation, programme management, process improvement and documentation.
VED PRAKASH SHARMA
ADDITIONAL CHIEF PROJECT COORDINATOR (ALWAR)
Ved has done B.Sc. Agriculture and Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development. He is working with Mata Shree Gomati Devi Jan Seva Nidhi (sister organisation of Lupin Foundation) since August 2007. Before joining LHWRF, he has worked with reputed NGOs in Rajasthan. He has rich experience of working in the watershed programme and attended an international course on community-based integrated watershed management organised by International Institute of Rural Reconstruction - Silang, Cavite, Philippines.
SENIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR (SINDHUDURG)
Yogesh has been working in the rural development sector for last 15 years. He had worked on the Concept of ‘Parivartana Kendra’, a social transformation centre set up in rural areas for capacity building of village social institutions. Yogesh is committed to contributing sustainable development in rural areas through various innovative programmes.
