Punita’s career spans more than 35 years of expertise in strategy, marketing, and leadership throughout Asia, with experience across varied disciplines, geographies, and cultural contexts. Her executive experience includes working for Coca Cola in China and PepsiCo in India, where she last served as MD & CEO of NourishCo, a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo. After transitioning from corporate roles, she founded her own consultancy, focusing on the SME sector. Punita has served on prominent global and Indian boards, including DBS Bank Singapore and Carlsberg A.S. in Denmark. Additionally, she has held Independent Director roles in India with Cipla Limited, CEAT Limited, and Entertainment Networks India Limited. As a certified leadership coach and distinguished business leader, Ms. Lal has earned numerous accolades, such as being named one of India’s top 20 Businesswomen by Business Today in 2006 and receiving the Corporate Woman of the Year award in 2009 from the FICCI Women’s Organisation.
